Artificial intelligence (AI)

The term “artificial intelligence” dates back to 1955 when John McCarthy coined it and defined it as “the science and engineering of making intelligent machines”. AI encompasses techniques that mimic the human brain and thus machine learning and deep learning are considered a subset of AI. It has become an inbuilt and integral part of most of the gadgets we have in our houses, for example, a smartphone takes our audio message and converts it into text or translates it into the language we want. AI has entered almost every field such as industry, the railways, aviation, technology, agriculture, healthcare, and marketing, and its applications seem endless.
